WORLDS LONGEST CANOE RACE, THE RUTA MAYA IN BELIZE ACROSS THE COUNTRY, ABOUT 200 MILES AND HAS THREE LEGS OF A DAY EACH, CAMPING ON THE RIVER BANK IN BETWEEN.
The date is March 4th to 7th., 2011. Starts in San Ignacio about 7 a.m. when the mist is still on the river and daylight is only just brightening.
