Winter Tourist Season already in almost FULL SWING MODE
Tourist season looks like being a bumper year. Tourists abound. Was at the International Airport picking up my brother-in-law after a six week vacation in Miami and Bogota and the airlines were coming in steady. ( Nov. 13th. ) Delta, Continental, 2 American Airline flights and local airlines, Maya Airways and Tropicair had their planes out in force for the puddle jump to the offshore cayes.
While the tourist season was as yet only about 50% of capacity, it was encouraging to see all the guides and tour operators outside the EXIT IMMIGRATION with their signs awaiting incoming groups.
