PRIME MINISTER OF BELIZE, Dean BARROW HOODWINKED BY OAS SECRETARY GENERAL

* Suspected Leftist Block, Fifth Column leader in the OAS.
* Prime Minister Dean Barrow from Belize, BIG FISH in a little pond. Got eaten alive as CARICOM Chair, by OAS Insulza Secretary General, the puppet big SHARK, representing interests of ALBA Block in recent HONDURAS fracas.

Prime Minister, Dean Barrow of Belize got hoodwinked by Secretary General of the OAS.

REPORT FROM BELIZE, JUNE 10TH, 2009

Turns out our DEAN BARROW our lawyer/Prime Minister and big fish in a little pond, thought he was a big fish in a big pond, when he was Chairman of CARICOM. Seems INSULZA, Chairman of the OAS, had his own agenda when he went charging into Honduras like a dictator demanding his terms. Chavez threatening military invasion, except it is too early in the WAR GAME yet for Empire, as his military weren’t ready yet. The whole bunch of country bumpkins in CARICOM got taken for a ride on the vote by the OAS.
Unfortunately, our CARICOM members are naïve Provincial country bumpkins and not a single government among them have a SECRET FOREIGN SERVICE, or are aware of the backgrounds of the members of the OAS. Nor is their any National Interest foreign policy department in the Foreign Affairs of Belize keeping any tabs, or historical profile files on the OAS representatives. The general public knows OAS members are dumped by their countries to keep them from making trouble at home. Turns out on the internet, that research shows SECRETARY General of the OAS, INSULZA is a member of the Chilean Socialist Party and a member of the SAO PAULO Forum, so it says on the internet. An alternative organization to the OAS, which was formed by FIDEL CASTRO. Tyrant of the prison island of CUBA, designed to counter the USA democratic system. INSULZA works for Emperor Chavez and the rest of our wanna-be TYRANTS, –President for Life CLUB all indicators say. If you don’t recognize and smell EVIL when you meet it, you probably are the wrong generation. Too bad! I’ll repeat, this is a copy cat of STALIN of Russia take over, of EAST EUROPEAN COUNTRIES during and after World War 11. The only missing ingredient is the military force. Though the internet chatter says EMPEROR CHAVEZ is building up a mobile rapid reaction military force in Venezuela for just that purpose, with new weapons and planes, etc.
Wheels within wheels and our Prime Minister Barrow of Belize got suckered real bad over Honduras by the OAS. We don’t have communists anymore, today the labels have been changed. They call themselves SOCIALISTS and NEO LIBERALS. Same animal different name. We call them SHARKS! Barrow is but a minnow, food for the SHARKS, even though he got his photo taken with BUSH and OBAMA.
The interesting thing about this TYRANTS CLUB are the multiple levels they are playing serious games at. The OAS, it is now obvious, has been penetrated by a FIFTH COLUMN of saboteurs, or agent provocateurs. There are at least seven and maybe more. The problem with such a fifth column is the blasé indifference of the other country Ambassadors to the OAS, who think the debates and actions they are deciding on in committee and conferences, are from a free democratic debate. Nothing can be further from the truth. In CARICOM, we have lost four International votes to ALBA and Emperor Chavez. The thing is; if the four small island nations get used to free oil, food and other goodies, pretty soon they will not be able to live without them. There is the old saying. HE WHO PAYS THE PIPER CALLS THE TUNE! Those four ex-CARICOM leaders cannot vote on CARICOM issues anymore, it is a conflict of interest ! They have SOLD their voting rights over to EMPEROR CHAVEZ when they signed on to ALBA. From now on they are in the SOCIALIST BLOC and have sold their freedom for slavery. They are not slaves yet, but it is coming fast. Done with their eyes wide open and not realizing it. The COLD WAR is getting really serious in the AMERICAS. OBAMA is not an action type President, he is a negotiator and talker. Unfortunately that is a weakness, when dealing with the new socialism coming from the TYRANTS CLUB. Lying and deceit and charades and front organizations are par for the course, right out of STALIN’s era. CARICOM leaders need to wake up and face reality. They are in a WAR with both the European Union and the ALBA group in the Americas. Hard to tell who is more dangerous? Though I would say the ALBA group. This ALBA group is not what it proclaims. That’s all camouflage. Trouble with the Caribbean island nations, they have never been in a war so close up and personal. They don’t even know they are being targeted for Empire building. With Empire come troops and fifth columnists, spies and soldiers with guns, secret police and block captains. Exile, disappearances, torture, murder and imprisonment included. Nobody in CARICOM have any experience with this. STALIN KILLED TENS OF MILLIONS, MAO KILLED TENS OF MILLIONS, CASTRO BROTHERS AND CHE’ KILLED OR EXILED, IF NOT A MILLION, CERTAINLY OVER A HUNDRED THOUSAND. The middle and upper business classes already fled Venezuela. Bright people that!

BELIZE GETS INTO HEAVY DEBATE OVER CONSTITUTION IN HONDURAS OUR NEIGHBOR

Prime Minister of Belize Dean Barrow a Commonwealth style British trained Belizean lawyer, dabbles with a Republican Honduras style constitution he has not read and in his off the cuff judgement turns out BADLY WRONG! We Belizeans are ashamed of Barrow and CARICOM regarding the Honduras Presidential problem. Legally Barrow speaks for the nation of Belize, but more than half think he is nuts on this Honduras Constitution and CARICOM leaders too. Plus the OAS members, who have always been second class actors.

PRIME MINISTER DEAN BARROW OF BELIZE WAS WRONG, WHEN HE SPOKE FOR THE COUNTRY OF BELIZE ON THE HONDURAS PRESIDENTIAL REMOVAL! BELIZE CITIZENS SUPPORT THE HONDURAS GOVERNMENT AND ONLY WISH WE COULD DO THE SAME HERE IN BELIZE!

I don't know anything about the Honduras Constitution, or whether they have impeachment laws or not. Belize does not I think.
At any rate, Zelaya was refused to do an official government paid referendum on his running for a second term, by his political party, his cabinet and his Congress. It is against the Honduran Constitution to do so. So he went ahead in organizing one anyway for his own use. Nothing wrong with that, so long as he personally paid for his own private interest, organized and paid out of his own pocket. What he did is misuse the government taxpayer resources, in that he was using the government printing presses, salaried bureaucrats and billing the treasury for what he was doing in his own private business interest.
We had something similar under the PUP in which the Lands Department complained for a couple of years that they only could serve about 5% of Belize taxpayer business, because elected representatives in the PUP government, were storming in and ordering them about and demanding service for their private land purchases. This is corruption similar to Zelaya, and should be stopped. The taxpayer should be protected from abuse of power like this. The Hondurans did it the best way they knew how, in custom with their history. I agree with their actions.
The OAS, Organization of American States, are a bunch of nitwits and crackpots, running their own agendas. Like Prime Minister of Belize, Dean Barrow, they are dead wrong.

**** The article above this one in the blog, gives you the TRUTH about the HONDURAS CONSTITUTION by a previous PRESIDENTIAL LEGAL ADVISOR LAWYER AND FORMER ELECTED MEMBER IN THE GOVERNMENT. This is the horses mouth speaking and talking to you, not some crackpots from the Organization of American States, or misinformed Caricom Leaders, who cannot even run their own countries properly.

FINANCE MINISTER OF BELIZE FACES FINANCIAL CRISIS

Finance Minister of Belize, Dean Barrow, Prime Minister and party leader of the UDP holding government.

FINANCE MINISTER OF BELIZE FACES FINANCIAL CRISIS

* Reduced government income revenues for 2008 were quoted at $680 million. The fiscal year runs from April 1st to April 1st.

* The interest debt load on the Belize Bonds are about $260 million for 2009 April 1st to April 1st 2010.

* The government costs about $476 million in 2008, but is continuing to expand during the 2009-10 fiscal year. What the end cost will be nobody actually knows yet?

* The interest debt load on the Belize Bonds are expected to accelerate by contractual agreement in balloon payments during 2010. The amount is roughly $500 million as a fair guess estimate. We are not counting the other debts of this government.

The National Debt of Belize is currently estimated at 83% of GDP. We need below 3% of GDP to be a viable country. How to get there though?

You do the math! Impossible!

So far the Finance Minister has only suggested more BORROWING of more LOANS. If he can find any?

* TO MAKE THINGS WORSE, THE 2008 -2009 TOURIST SEASON DROPPED 11%, HURTING GOVERNMENT REVENUES. THE 2009 – 2010 WINTER TOURIST SEASON IS PROJECTED TO DROP BY 30%. TOURIST TAX REVENUES ARE ABOUT ONE THIRD OF GOVERNMENT TOTAL REVENUE TAXES.

• WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN? WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE FINANCE MINISTER OF BELIZE? ( and no, shooting yourself in the head with a pistol is not considered a viable option - ( grin! )( light joke intended )

GROWING UNREST WITH PRIME MINISTER DEAN BARROW OF BELIZE AND HIS DEFENSE OF CORRUPT CABINET MINISTERS!

Prime Minister of Belize and leader of the UDP winning party, Dean Barrow
There is growing dissension in Belize over the growing corruption in the UDP government and defended by the Prime Minister of Belize, Dean Barrow. This excerpt was taken from the list serve discussions inside Belize. Instead of firing Cabinet Ministers involved in corruption, the Prime Minister is defending them like a lawyer. Some say his own behavior is suspect also, with an ex-wife getting rich off government court cases. There does not seem any relief from corrupt politicians in Belize?

* The following article taken from the listserve discussions.

“I have come to the conclusion that one useless man is called a disgrace, two men are called a law firm, and three or more become a Congress.” ~ John Adams

"Lawyers are people whose profession it is to disguise matters.” ~ Thomas More

“A man who never graduated from school might steal from a freight car, but a man who attends college and graduates as a lawyer might steal the whole railroad.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt

It is widely accepted that Belize’s Prime Minister, Dean Oliver Barrow is an above average lawyer; a skilled practitioner or rainmaker, if you will. He is quite capable of mounting formidable arguments to convince magistrates and judges of his clients’ innocence or the opposing lawyer’s weakness of point. Adequately trained in the fine art of sophistry, he is deft at taking the weakest of arguments and making they appear to be strong. Able to convince the toughest of juries that the evidence before them is not nearly as compelling as it appears to be. Yup, without a doubt, Dean Oliver Barrow is a pretty good attorney. The problem is that attorney Dean Barrow seems to be having trouble making the transition from lawyer to leader. He approaches the role of leadership with the same satanic cunning and shiftiness that has become the earmark of his legal profession. While such characteristics will normally produce desirable results in courtrooms, in the supposedly nobler realm of politics, they appear vile and downright indecorous.

Mr. Barrow continues to present a façade of sincerity and while he walks a crooked walk, at least he talks a pretty talk. There are many in his cabinet however, that has failed miserably even in this regard. Mr. Finnegan’s recent “like it or lump it” attitude when confronted with recent shenanigans in his ministry, Mr. Faber’s continued disrespect for teachers and school administrators, evidence of blatant corruption in the Ministries of Works and Health all suggest that these “in there simply to hustle” politicians could care less about public image or perception. Mr. Barrow now, instead of showing leadership skills and doing what is necessary to rope in his rogues, has instead taken the defense attorney stance. Instead of reproving and reprimanding where necessary, he has chosen instead to take the stand in defense of his brood. Mr. Barrow comes across not as leader and Prime Minister but as defense attorney for a group of very guilty clients.

In the House of Representatives on Friday, Mr. Barrow was in his full element. In the face of overwhelming evidence of corruption being presented by the Leader of the Opposition, instead of showing concern about the breech in his primary manifesto promise, Mr. Barrow chose instead to support his deputy’s “playing the dozens” game with Mr. Briceno. In a page straight from the Jerry Springer Show, the members of this so-called honorable House displayed character more appropriate to a kindergarten recess session. The biggest item of interest to these supposed-to-be intellectuals was the Leader of the Opposition’s stumble in the pronouncing of Dubotomine. Gentlemen, have you not heard? “A small mistake should not a big point spoil”! The Leader of the Opposition was making a very big point. With evidence in hand, (vouchers and receipts of payment), Mr. Briceno was exposing to the House a glaring example of the blatant corruption and misuse of authority that appears prevalent in not only the healthcare system but in seemingly every constituent of Mr. Barrow’s administration. What glaring hypocrisy! Many will remember Mr. Barrow pontificating to the media following his Feb 2008 victory at the polls. In Mr. Barrow’s own words on that fateful night, “I certainly am determined that above all we do things properly, that we operate a government of honesty, a government of dialogue, a government of accountability. Accountability, not just to the larger population but accountability even to our public officers”. Right! Like the NICH contract, like the Juliet Thimbrel loan, like Zenaida Moya’s contracts and salaries, like Boots Martinez’s deposits and withdrawals, like Gapi’s land deals, like Finnegan’s reciprocation to voters, like the current mess at the KHMH! Really Mr. Barrow, we are not all lawyers and certainly not all as bright as you are but ask Minister Finnegan, “even blind jonesy could see” that something is going very wrong here. Please Mr. Barrow, how about a little defense for the people instead of for those who are doing us wrong!

The media now, continues to try and convince us that while all this is obviously wrong, it might be okay because at least we know about it. In his editorial of last week, the publisher praised Dr. John Sosa for speaking out about the scandalous hustling going on at the KHMH. According to the editorial, because Dr. Sosa is from a UDP family, then the UDP must also be congratulated. What kind of crazy rationale is this cat pushing down our throats? “If he was a PUP in a PUP government”, states the editorial, “he would never have been able to speak so openly.” Really! So were the G-7 shot? Did not Cordell Hyde and Mark Espat speak out openly and were in the end, even allowed back into cabinet? Ernesto Vasquez has been pushing the same line every morning on Love FM. “Well at least it’s coming out”. As if this somehow is supposed to justify or extenuate these wrongs in any way. Corruption is corruption and never to be condoned. And did not this government get elected on an anti-corruption platform? Please Mr. Mass Media, “Fools dih taak but nuh fools dih listen!”

CABINET MEMBER FOR SECURITY VISITS CAYO WEST BELIZE

POLITICIAN POLICE MINISTER FROM THE NATIONAL CABINET, VISITS CAYO WEST DISTRICT FOR THE SECOND TIME SINCE BEING ELECTED A YEAR AGO.

The Cabinet Minister of National Security, Carlos Perdomo was elected to office in February 7th, 2008 and then duly appointed as Cabinet Minister for National Security by his winning party leader Dean Barrow, who had automatically became Prime Minister from the election.
Minister Perdomo accompanied by the Commissioner of our National Police, Gerald Westby Esq., arrived on the morning of January 22nd., 2009. The small detachment of police at the San Ignacio police department, a district headquarters, formed an honor guard to receive these distinguished visitors to our Western Belize area. The officer in charge of the honor guard was Sr. Superintendent Paul Wade. The police station has recently been refurbished and repainted with donations from the community of the TWIN TOWNS, merchant center of the Cayo district. The Belize Government is broke and operating on a recently re-newed, by the UDP newly elected government, using a deficit foreign loan borrowing budget operating system. So many government departments including the police are under funded. The government revenues are adequate on an austerity well managed budget system, but as usual with a new political party in power, they want to spend more than is available, so after six years of PUP austerity ( the PUP lost the election ) the new UDP government are putting the nation in increased foreign borrowing debt. Will this help policing? Very unlikely. Some $200 million of borrowed money is going to be infused in the productive sector infra-structure over this year of 2009. Mostly road repairs.
The Cayo District has a number of outlying small police stations, usually in smaller towns and occasionally in villages. The most frequent crimes are theft of goods left in cars by people shopping, some burglaries, hold ups by armed masked men of stores and businesses, drunken quarrels and machete and knife fights. There are a number of drug arrests, usually to do with marijuana, which is a back country sideline business for some farmers and these are usually caught by public tip offs, or road police check points search teams. Guatemalan bandits periodically, every couple of years, come through the jungle from over the border and set up a type of stage coach robbery road block, for people traveling in cars on back roads. These are normally dealt with, not by the police but by the small 800 man Belize Defense Force army, on patrols. There is growing cooperation between Guatemalan and Belize police forces and army personnel of both countries. Life in Western Belize is for most people, quite tranquil. Every few years some horrific murder occurs, which distresses the Western population and the cries for police action are loud and very vocal. Police response is usually swift. The methodology most favored, is to figure out who did it and then beat a confession out of them.
The police force of Belize is the inherited BRITISH COLONIAL MODEL and is distorted sometimes by whichever political party is in power, who use promotions as a seduction of the professionalism of the force to political victimization ends. Most policemen do not have high school diplomas and the methodology of police work, especially in rural areas is rough and ready. Torture, beatings and temporary incarceration over the weekends for a few days is common enough, if you read the complaints in the newspapers. There has been many attempts in the last few decades to lift up the evidence forensic gathering, abilities of the police, but to no avail so far, according to the newspapers. Witness intimidation is common. There is absolutely no success by the police to deal with the crimes of politicians, plundering the government treasury. Rarely if ever, do the police attempt such a thing, as the political party in power is their boss. Since the police fall under the control of the political party in power, as favored by the aristocratic Empire building British Colonial model, this is an unfortunate price to pay in the system we use. Most low level ordinary police work is fairly good and deals with the nitty gritty details of common, low class crime, by criminals and drunks. The crime of most annoyance, is opportunistic crime, not necessarily pre-meditated crime. Usually by thefts of equipment.
That said; you are safer in Cayo West than in Miami, Florida, or Denver, Colorado. For the circumstances, we have mostly ordinary crimes, and the police force is effective.
The two man inspection team of higher ups, visited the villages of Georgeville, Santa Elena Town, San Antonio town. Many of the larger villages and a couple of small towns were skipped.
