Too late to get rid of Chavez and rescue Venezuela?

* Two battalions of Russian tanks on order to keep the civilian poor population in control and servitude for the future of Communist Venezuela.
* Chavez with military preparing for revolution and tighter communism in Venezuela

DICTATOR / TYRANT'S GRIP TIGHTENS ON VENEZUELA

34 Independent radio stations in Venezuela have been seized by the Chavez Venezuelan State Government, August 3rd, 2009, and these BOURGOISE are out of business. If this is similar to what happened in Havana, in the New Years of 1959 – 60, which I witnessed first hand, that means the trucks came and carted away all the furniture, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, typewriters, radio transmitters, computers, microphones and speakers. I saw it in Vienna in 1945 through 1948 by the Russians also.
Sometime soon, Chavez is consolidating his position as EGO-MANIAC, EMPEROR, DICTATOR and removing all his political opposition. The next step will be seizure of all buildings, offices and houses as State Property. Probably in a decree of some kind? The bourgoise ( lower middle class ) will be fleeing Venezuela in the millions soon! This must be why Chavez has an order in, for two battalions of tanks with Russia? He needs tanks to stop a revolution by the poor on the highways as checkpoints and in major street junctions in Caracas and other larger cities, when he tightens the screws on the State Dictatorship and makes everybody a SLAVE of the state system. Under the CUBAN system, EVERYBODY, but the leaders MUST BE MADE EQUALLY POOR. Ownership of nothing allowed. Or very little. Venezuela is doomed! Fictional elections, a charade in using democratic titles. Poor Venezuelans. The country has a one crop economy – OIL. Like Cuba, Venezuela cannot feed itself and what little is happening now will quickly decline. Big market in Venezuela for food soon. When you take away property ownership and the incentive of profit for bettering one self, material possessions and life style, the society is doomed as Eastern Europe showed
One can only wonder at the EGO, the power mad drive, that makes one individual, destroy your own country using misguided theories of Marx and Lenin that were proven wrong 50 years ago. I guess certain people NEVER learn from history, or there must be something in the genes that puts EGO and the LUST FOR ABSOLUTE POWER above common sense? A lot of people are going to be brutalized and murdered in Venezuela over the next decade, this is obvious from history. Throughout the ALBA countries those numbers of dead victims are going to be several millions it sure looks like, if history is any teacher? It’s a shame, because a lot of poverty program ideas are good, but could be done without the claptrap of total state domination and ownership of everybody and everything. Chavez doesn’t need totalitarian power to do poverty programs. Just do them in an ordinary government. Venezuelans will NEVER be able to get rid of Chavez now. It is already too late!

BELIZE GOVERNMENT JUMPS 1% ON PERFORMANCE THIS WEEK

pickup truck mosquito fogger machine at work by Health Department in Belize

BELIZE UDP GOVERNMENT REPORT CARD JUMPS 1% THIS WEEK, FROM 48% TO 49%

Health Department pre-emptive work on diesel fogging of TWIN TOWN neighborhoods through the rainy season, have instilled a sense of comfort in the population. That the HEALTH DEPARTMENT are on the job and doing it well. We have had foggers go through our neighborhood, morning and evening at the worst times killing mosquitoes as they hatch.
The country during the rainy season is plagued with colds, fevers and chills. Some of which are dengue fever and some have even been the Swine Flu, H1 N1 which have all been mild. Most cases are head colds, ordinary flu, diarrhea, intestinal and abdominal cramps. The prompt work and reaction for the fogging operation is awarded to the UDP CABINET HEALTH MINISTER whoever it is?
I read in Argentina they have 400 declared deaths on the low end of reporting from Swine Flu. It is winter down there where they live. The WHO reports indicate we can expect 6% of our population in Belize to get Swine Flu this coming winter. About 18,000 cases? Death rate seems to be fairly low, about as in ordinary flu cases? Though the susceptible target seems to be young adults in their prime.
It is time to shuffle CABINET PORTFOLIOS. Two individuals that got a lot of publicity and meant well obviously, actually didn’t PRODUCE the way they should have. These are EDMUND CASTRO and MELVIN HULSE. In the PRIVATE SECTOR we cannot afford non-performers who somehow cannot get results. You can’t keep people working that do not learn to function properly in a prompt and efficient manner. Nothing against them personally, they did their best, just that the judgment is; their best is not good enough. Let them try somebody else, where they might find a better niche? We are speaking from a Western Belize area perspective on performance. They may have done better some other part of the country? We are not aware of that? The only performer coming out of the first third of this UDP term is Patrick Faber and since he was made Deputy Prime Minster while our PM was away recently, one has to assume he is being groomed to replace the party leader in the next election when the PM retires? Giving Patrick Faber the Transportation Ministry and the Telecommunications Ministry would give us a chance to see how he does in a more critical juncture for Belizean development? We need Ministers that can PRODUCE results in a timely manner. We could find out if Patrick is Party Leader and Prime Minister material this way, mid UDP term. We need to seduce both CLARO and TIGO of Guatemala telecommunications to enter Belize in competition with others here to give the public better service. A tower on the Eastern end of the Yalbak Hills range would service half the population of Belize. Down in Toledo District, a Guatemalan tower on the Quartz ridge of the Mayan mountains would also service all the Toledo District and interior of Belize. If the existing local telecommunications operators can’t do it, we need to get somebody else into the country who can. It is time to start moving forward and getting things done here! We need PERFORMERS in this UDP CABINET. People who can get things done.

BELIZE debate ON DUAL NATIONALITY AND RUNNING FOR POLITICS

* German flag
* Indian Flag
* USA Flag

BIG DEBATE in BELIZE about being able to run for office if you have dual, triple, or quadruple citizenship. This law below does not talk about running for office, but does point out ANY COMMONWEALTH CITIZEN can vote in Belize.

This message sent to the Bz-Culture Mailing List from Lan Sluder :

**** With all this talk about Belize for Belizeans and only roots Belizeans
should run for office, etc. etc. it's probably worth noting that in
Belize any Commonwealth citizen resident in Belize for at least a year
can vote in any Belize election. So all those Canadians, Brits,
Aussies, New Zedders, Bahamians, Ghanaans, Guyanese, Jamaicans,
Bangladeshans, Tanzanians, Pakistanis and other citizens of the 53
Commonwealth countries can vote PUP or UDP in the next election.

USA HESITATES TO NAME HUGO CHAVEZ A TERRORIST - because of OIL ????

President Obama, allegedly a Marxist President of the USA according to internet chatter. Either way you read it, the USA is PUSSY FOOTING over labeling Hugo Chavez, a FARC terrorist.
* Hilary Clinton Secretary of State of the USA.
* Hugo Chavez TERRORISTA!

Speaking of Chavez, this is a Washington Post editorial from last Friday:

Friday, July 31, 2009

"WHEN THE Colombian government last year unveiled extensive evidence that the government of Venezuela had collaborated with a Colombian rebel movement known for terrorism and drug trafficking, other Latin American governments and the United States mostly chose to look the other way. The evidence was contained on laptops captured in a controversial raid by the Colombian army on a guerrilla base in Ecuador. Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez denounced the e-mails and documents as forgeries, and the potential consequences of concluding that Venezuela was supporting a terrorist organization against a democratic government -- which could include mandatory U.S. sanctions and referral to the U.N. Security Council -- were more than the Bush administration was prepared to contemplate.
Now Colombia has made public evidence that will be even more difficult to ignore. In a raid on a camp of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Columbia (FARC), a group officially designated a terrorist organization by the United States and the European Union, Colombian forces captured sophisticated, Swedish-produced antitank rockets. A Swedish investigation confirmed that they were originally sold to the Venezuelan army by the arms manufacturer Saab. What's more, FARC e-mails from the laptops captured in Ecuador appear to refer to the weapons; in one, a FARC operative in Caracas reports discussing delivery of the arms in a 2007 meeting with two top Venezuelan generals, including the director of military intelligence, Hugo Armando Carvajal Barrios.

Colombia privately asked Mr. Chávez's government for an explanation of the rockets several months ago; Sweden is now asking as well. But the only response has been public bluster by the Venezuelan caudillo, who on Tuesday withdrew his ambassador from Colombia and threatened to close the border to trade. If he follows through, U.S. drug authorities may well be pleased: A report released last week by the U.S. Government Accountability Office said Venezuela had created a "permissive environment" for FARC that had allowed the group to massively increase its cocaine smuggling across that border. "By allowing illegal armed groups to elude capture and by providing material support, Venezuela has extended a lifeline to Colombian illegal armed groups, and their continued existence endangers Colombian security gains achieved with U.S. assistance," the GAO reported.
This all sounds an awful lot like material support for terrorism -- which raises the question of whether the State Department will look again at whether Mr. Chávez's government or its top officials belong on its list of state sponsors of terrorism. The Bush administration's Treasury Department last year imposed sanctions on Gen. Carvajal and several other officials for supporting the FARC's drug trafficking. But that hardly covers the supply of antitank rockets to a designated terrorist organization. At the moment, the State Department is busy applying sanctions to members of Honduras's de facto government, which is guilty of deposing one of Mr. Chávez's clients and would-be emulators. Perhaps soon it can turn its attention to those in the hemisphere who have been caught trying to overturn a democratic government by supplying terrorists with advanced weapons."

It is the belief of Democratic Capitalist countries, that entrepreneurship is the way for the economic success of nations. This conflicts with the current rise of ALBA in the Americas, a socialist philosophy, that is anti-private, for profit entrepreneurship, in which the STATE under a DICTATOR is the owner of all property, means of production and the citizens themselves as possessions of the state. ( serfs or slaves ) The only example of the Leninist/Marxist model in the Americas is Cuba and they have never been able to support themselves in over 50 years. Right now Raul Castro, DICTATOR of CUBA is worried by the loss of STATE TOURISM REVENUES in the world recession and cannot afford to keep importing food to feed the Cuban people on a fixed food ration system. Yet in an helicopter flight, Raul Castro this past month, as DICTATOR of the prison island of Cuba, he found oodles of idle government land surrounding towns and cities in Cuba, which could be farmed. As dictator he is struggling with the idea of limited entrepreneurship to lower CUBAN food import bills, to encourage farming by private for profit individuals. To be an entreprenuer in CUBA is a state crime punished by years in jail. Usually in the history of the old RUSSIAN FEDERATION this partial state permission did not work, and such farmers eventually were killed in GULAGS, or otherwise as bourgeois counter-revolutionaries, if they became successful in a for profit venture as an entrepreneur. The PIONEERS for PROSPERITY believe the opposite, that it is only by harnessing the SELF INTEREST of the individual, to improve their personal life, through entrepreneurship that you can build an economic future for the citizen and the nation.

Belize YOUTH FOR THE FUTURE PROGRAM

Youth for the Future Program, of tiny Belize.
Youth for the Future, BELIZE

YOUTH FOR THE FUTURE PROGRAMS IN BELIZE

Youth for the Future is a Youth Centered Agency whose primary responsibility is the empowerment of young people to participate meaningfully in the present and future development of Belize at every level. It is important to Belize, because 70% of the small population never even finished primary school. Belize is much poorer than surrounding Central American countries. The Youth for the FUTURE is also responsible for the 4 – H agriculture youth program and the National Cadet Service Corps. The main agency funding the program is the SOCIAL INVESTMENT FUND, which funds projects aimed at addressing the basic needs of all Belizeans in an honest and transparent manner, utilizing a community based approach. It is reported there are branches in all districts of Belize. The Social Investment Fund was established in 1996 as a statutory body. There have been 427 projects valued at $52.6 million Belize currency, in areas such as Water and Sanitation, Health programs, Economic Infrastructure, Education, Social Services, Organizational strengthening of government in a decentralized system for only 300,000 people scattered over rugged mountain jungle country covering over 6000 square miles.
There was recently a graduation of a ten week training program with a graduation ceremony, with 158 persons, where young and middle aged Belizeans took training . The training was funded by the Government of Belize, the Caribbean Development Bank, and implemented through the offices of the Social Investment Fund, using the YOUTH FOR THE FUTURE group.
This approach to fighting poverty, is contrary to that of the centralized OIL RICH VENEZUELAN dictatorial system of centralized socialism. You would have to call this the democratic capitalist approach, to help people help themselves, with an uplift by the bootstraps to do so. There is an oft quoted cliché in Belize, that says it is better to teach a person to fish for food, than just give him the fish.
Belize still has not reached the point where population growth and thus greater GDP and tax flows can support a big enough government to be totally effective over such a wide geographical terrain. For example I noted yesterday Saturday that our town garbage was picked up by a tractor and wagon, from a farm, with two campesino illiterate workers doing the lifting. It is not that Belize has no fancy modern garbage trucks. It is just that these modern gadgets turn out to be too expensive to maintain and run for the poor country in garbage collection. The garbage collection cost using modern garbage trucks, along with investment amortization, turned out to be more than the total annual Town Council cash flows from business taxes and property taxes, including the occasional National GRANT called a subvention.

CHAVEZ CLOSING DOWN RADIO STATIONS IN VENEZUELA AS THE FIST OF STALINISM TIGHTENS ON THE POPULATION

Hugo Chavez, President for Life Dictator of Venezuela, with his mentor, Fidel Castro of the Communist prison island of Cuba

CHAVEZ TIGHTENS THE SCREWS ON REMAINING MEDIA IN VENEZUELA. CUBAN STYLE COMMUNISIM NEARLY DONE IN VENEZUELA.

Date: Sunday, August 2, 2009, 6:37 PM

EMPEROR DICTATOR Chavez may be coming for YOU next.

--Lan Sluder

From the WSJ:

>>

Venezuelan radio broadcasters vowed to fight a move by President Hugo Chávez to yank the signals of 34 stations in a growing government crackdown on independent media.

The Venezuelan government forced a Caracas radio station, CNB, to go off the air on Saturday. Thirty-three other stations have also been told they must stop transmitting because they failed to comply with licensing regulations.
The shutdown of the radio stations, which the government accused of licensing irregularities, came as Mr. Chávez pressed legislation to punish so-called media crimes with prison sentences of up to four years. Human-rights groups criticized the government for trying to strangle dissent as the president moves to impose a socialist economic model.
Nelson Belfort, director of the Venezuelan Radio Broadcasting Chamber and owner of one of the affected stations, said he will appeal the president's move. In the meantime, some of the stations said they will try to continue broadcasting via the Internet.
Mr. Chávez defended the move against the stations and said "the radio broadcasters now belong to the people and not the bourgeoisie." Some 200 other stations are under investigation and face the prospect of losing their licenses.
