BELIZE TOPS CARICOM ECONOMIES !
Belize population 330,000 with a GDP growth of 4.2% for 2012. This though a good year is still not enough to put Belize over the top in dealing with past government spendthrift debt and political embezzling. There are still large holes in the budgets needed in the tens of millions, due to past debts. The only thing you could say for the Belize economy, it is on the right track right now, though not enough yet. One problem is the brain drain. A dysfunctional tertiary level educational system, educating young people for export countries.
