SUGAR CANE FARMERS OF THE NORTH AND WEST IN BELIZE ARE SHOOTING FOR 110 TONS THIS YEAR 2012
SUGAR CANE FARMERS OF THE NORTH, CENTRAL AND WESTERN PARTS OF BELIZE HAVE SURPASSED THE 100 TONS OF SUGAR DELIVERED AND PRODUCED AT THE SUGAR FACTORY.
For the first time in six years, cane farmers have produced more than 100 tons of sugar. They are expected to reach 110 thousand tons for this season. This is the result of reorganizing the delivery schedule and timing of deliveries by organization. Also quality control was implemented to get rid of mud carried on the trucks. Mud was often used to pad the figures for delivery of sugar cane.
