Tropical Agriculture research in Belize. After three years, the Belize Development Trust proved you could grow vegetables year round in Belize and the only restricting factor was the type of variety for the hotter dry season versus the cooler winter season.

I see cabbage. What other vegetaqbles are they growing?
I was there yesterday. Growing Lentils, lettuce, egg plant, and testing numerous varieties. We require two different varieties to cover the hot season and the cool season. They have a bunch of stuff here for experimentation, but it is all variety research these days. Many seeds from temperate zones don't work well in tropical low lands. Night time temperature is the problem.
