MINNESOTA STUDENT NURSE GROUP OF 13, HEAD FOR BELIZE, Western Adventure Recreational Area

COLD WEATHER DRIVES, MINNESOTA, SAINT SCHOLASTIC NURSING STUDENTS, TO GET PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN BELIZE

Thirteen Saint Scholastic Nursing students are heading in the worst of winter cold, to warmer climate in the English speaking country of Belize. They are going to have a cultural change experience from the far cold North of the USA. The thirteen students are about halfway through their baccalaureat-nursing program. They will be ending up here in the TWIN TOWNS of Santa Elena and San Ignacio of the Western Belize,
Cayo District, Recreational Area. The training mission goals are HIV prevention and education, plus diabetes screening. They will be practicing some screening, doing some teaching, interventions and other things of the nursing education profession.
We of course welcome them to our tourist area with open arms and wish them an enjoyable experience over their two weeks of practical hands-on experience.
