GENERAL ELECTION IN BELIZE MARCH 7TH, 2012.

UDP EXPECTED TO WIN NEXT GENERAL ELECTION BY A LANDSLIDE IN 4 WEEKS.

The PUP had so much internal fighting, over titles, positions and the fact the PUP treasury was in debt and empty. The outfit basically collapsed as a political party. Nobody even knows out West if there are PUP candidates and who they might be? Such knowledge is passed on through the community by word of mouth, verbal gossip. NONE of the candidates, have had the resources to put up banners, placards or other advertising. Said, Ralph and Glenn, wiped out the money tree, from the PUP and since then, there is no hope for them as a party.

The INDEPENDENTS have said they joined together, but as far as I know,they have none on Caye Caulker and none in the CAYO DISTRICT. At least I have neither heard or seen anyone offering themselves. With only four weeks left to the ELECTION, the mystery will be to see who the devil they put on the ballot. Wonder when registration is?

The incumbent party are relying on familiarity, having been in office for four years. The names of the incumbents are familiar, but they too are guilty of not campaigning. I guess they are running on memory and record?

With only four weeks, this is the most un-election I have ever seen, since the days of British Honduras. Nobody is obviously running for office, apparently? Guess we will find out what choices we will have on the ballot on election day, since nobody is campaigning.
