THE POSSUM POINT SCHOLARSHIP FUND

Sittee River Methodist PRIMARY SCHOOL, a religious school ( most schools in Belize are religious types ) The scholarship fund has contributed money each year since 1987 to this school. So far they have contributed $70,000 usa since 1987. This past week they submitted a $4600 usa cheque to Mary Shaver for more scholarships, for High School . About 45 children from the remote, coastal picturesque, rural SITTEE RIVER have benefited from scholarships.
The money is raised by a GOLF TOURNAMENT from Hawthorne, VERMONT in the USA.
