Mars Rover Landing misplaced spending of space program tax dollars budget in my opinion.

The MARS ROVER LANDING is an interesting event.  Not that interesting, nor do I believe it is giving us value for tax dollars spent.
  Sure we are going to spread out into the SOLAR SYSTEM.  But it needs to be by a good foundation.  I vote the Mars stuff gets put on the back burner, until a moon based town of 5000 people are self sustainable on the closer moon.  If we can't build a self sustainable human colony on the moon, then this other stuff is just a waste of tax resources, in my view.
