WILL CARDAMOM SPICE HERB GROW IN BELIZE FOR 3000 TON EXPORT ORDER?

I got a few seeds of CARDAMOM from Guatemala. ( $200 )  Going to plant in the nursery about a dozen and see if they grow.  Probably drop by Agriculture Dept and see if they can grow them.  I only know CARDAMOM grows  at 6000 feet, but have heard they grow some at HILLBANK, the Bowen place.  Don't know if that is true or not?  Guatemala exports about 500 tons a year to the Persian Gulf.  It has been a popular spice there for over 5000 years, mostly from India.  At any rate, have an order if I could fill it, for 3000 tons of cardamom spice a year.  Would like to see if it grows well at our altitude here near sea level in Belize.  It takes 3 years to start producing and likes shade.
