BELIZE THIRD ANNUAL ORGANIC FAIR HELD IN REMOTE SOUTHERN TOLEDO DISTRICT

You got shelter, food to eat, bit of rum once in a while, friends to chat with, some sex, and a guitar. What more do you need, or want out of life. This is Grandpa Zuniga.

REMOTE TOLEDO DISTRICT IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF BELIZE HOLDS THE 3RD ANNUAL ORGANIC FARMING FAIR

They call themselves the Sustainable Harvest International Belize, Annual Organic Fair. The event was held at the park in the coastal town of Punta Gorda. This is also the entry and exit port for water taxis between Guatemala and Belize. At the FAIR there were 28 booths this year. Between 800 and a 1000 people visited the small FAIR. Farmers were selling their produce. On average they made about $200 each. Two farmers sold their twenty bags of corn at $40 each.
